Tour of UCLA Library Preservation Studios

Join LAAC for a tour of the newly relocated UCLA Library Preservation Studios! 

Tuesday, July 11, 2017 - 2 pm; 20 Powell Library (ground floor)

Located on the ground floor of Powell Library, the studios provide expert services including disaster preparedness, environmental monitoring, reformatting printed materials, and includes a book bindery, paper conservation center, and A/V preservation stations. LAAC Book Club No. 13

Join us for our next reading and meeting of the LAAC Book Club--where LA-area archivists and friends read and discuss publications exploring all matters archives.

The group will meet on Wednesday, June 28, from 6:30-8 pm at The Faculty (707 N. Heliotrope Dr). Participants to the Book Club will be capped at 12. Please email hello@laacollective.org to reserve a spot.
